The starting point is the ModWeb core component which acts as a foundation for additional plug-in modules.

Add-on modules include products, mailing list manager, shopping cart, customer management, image gallery and more.

As the diagram below shows, modules are added on to the core component which sits at the centre of your web site framework. Modules can also be added on to other modules which further increase the functionality and power of those modules. For example the shopping module is an add-on of the products module.
